Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year DOE

Summary/Objective

We are looking for a bookkeeper to provide assistance and support to one or more of our Account Managers.

Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping responsibilities
   1. Handling Accounts Payable and Receivable
   2. Enter all Cash Receipts
   3. Enter Credit Card statements and process as needed
   4. Reconcile bank account statements
   5. General Ledger
   6. Process clients’ payroll as instructed by supervisor
2. Assist with client  vendor tasks – billing set up, utilities, telephone, etc.
3. Additional  projects provided by the Account Manager or Accountant

Required Qualifications

1. Proficiency in Datafaction Legacy and Imaging or AgilLink computer software
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
3. Full charge bookkeeping experience
4. Excellent organizational skills
5. Able to meet deadlines
6. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
7. Ability to work fulltime

What You’ll Do:

• Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and/or review federal and multi-state individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065).

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA/CMA preferred but not required).

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax preparation and review.
• Familiarity with multi-state tax returns for individuals and entities.
• Public accounting or business management accounting firm background.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in tax software such as ProSystem, CCH Axcess Tax, and BNA Income Tax Planner.
• Experience with Datafaction/AgilLink and PDFlyer is a plus.

Tax Expertise: Strong knowledge of individual, C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, estate, and trust tax concepts.

Foreign Reporting: Experience with Forms 5471, 5472, 114, and 8865 is preferred.

Detail-Oriented: Ability to prepare complex Excel schedules and analyze payroll withholding requirements.
